Installed the cms and when changing the cms document which came with the package I get these errors: Document name is required (although a document name is present) and Document Content is required (although content is present). Same goes when creating an new document: document name and content is entered, same errors.

I'm posting a fixed version of the file here.

I will place it in the downloads as well in a couple days with a small patch.

mgmt_documentsm.zip

This file has been updated withthe change mentioned below.

The errors are partially fixed.

Regarding editing the present document: changes are saved, however I tried to center a sentence with Tinymce and on the frontpage it displays:

p align="center">Welcome to Soop Portal Phoenix!

Tried to create a new document. When saving it gives me a validation error. Also the save button gets disabled then.

OK this one tokk a little more that a couple head scratchs

Open the file mgmt_documentsm.asp in an editor.

Scroll down to line 302

Replace

Code
if len(cor.io.f("page_content"))<=100
With
Code
if len(cor.io.f_rtf("page_content"))<=100
And that shold be it.

Now its working properly :D, only to note if you don't write allot of text and click Save changes you will get validation error and even if you write more text after error you will not be able to save and you must reload it again.

@Hooded

What the guy is trying to say is that if you fail to validate due to short text, then you can't continue.

You must refresh.

mine is not working like that and it's the same file I just uploaded.

If there is an error it should recover the save button from validating...

Make sure you've dled the latest link here in the top post.

I have the latest. The "Validating ..." button stays forever like that.

If you write more text, you can't save.

You must start again.

another problem is that alignment doesn't work, tried to center the text, but after saving the text still shows left.

Is it a problem to lower the value of 100 being the minimum set of text so shorter texts can be entered?? If I set it to 10 then there's no problem entering and saving shorter texts

The reason I choose 100 is becasue it's a Document not a post.

You can shorten it to anything you like

Is this the same code we need to change to have the min characters lower??

Yes it is, but try to remember that it counts html characters, so <p> </p> would be classed as 8 characters

I think if you put in a paragraph break before and after the area of text you want to center..that the center alignment tool will then work and stick to center that area of text for you.
